Lyngdal
Centrally located in Sørlandet in Southern Norway you will find Lyngdal. It’s only 74 Kilometres from Kristiansand and 180 Kilometres from Stavanger. This council, with its 7000 inhabitants, stretches along 90 kilometres of beautiful
coastline.
During your journey you will come across 3 fjords. There are wonderful vistas in the area, offering exciting and interesting activities. The varied landscape with its many possibilities to explore makes Lyngdal a very popular holiday destination. Fantastic fishing opportunities await you, both for sea and river fishing. There are clean, shallow beaches, ideal for children.
The new Cultural House consists of the cinema and the library. A Water Park and Spa is under construction and will be completed by January 2007. In the town centre there are good shops with friendly and helpful staff. Situated by Road 39 is the shopping centre ‘Alleen Senter’.
You can buy your fishing licence from Lyngdal Tourist Board. This is also where you purchase tickets for the Moose Safari, Sea Fishing trips and other excursions. The information officers are very knowledgeable of the area and will ensure that your visit is both enjoyable and memorable.
